Sony Alpha 7 V in Creative Space On The Road 2026

Sony

Sony brought its Creative Space On The Road experience to Los Angeles on March 12, gathering photographers, filmmakers, and content creators for a full day of hands-on demonstrations and creative activities centered around the company’s newest imaging technology.

Held near Exposition Park, the event allowed visitors to test the newly released Sony Alpha 7 V, expected to be one of the brand’s flagship cameras for 2026. From morning to evening, attendees explored a wide selection of Sony lenses and participated in guided photowalks, portrait sessions, and interactive demonstrations alongside members of the Alpha community.

Participants also had the opportunity to compare Sony equipment with competing brands, noticing differences in weight, ergonomics, and performance while shooting in real-world conditions. The event attracted both professionals and photography enthusiasts eager to experiment with the latest tools and exchange ideas with fellow creators.

As a special gift, many attendees received a hand-signed copy of “Out There,” the new book by American photographer and artist Chris Burkard, released March 10.

Burkard, who lives on California’s Central Coast, is known for documenting landscapes, surf culture, outdoor adventures, and travel through a photojournalistic approach.

His book serves as a field guide to outdoor photography, covering topics from gear preparation and composition to shooting action, landscapes, and night scenes.
