San Bernardino, CA – Residents seeking health coverage through Medi-Cal can now receive free in-person enrollment assistance through Community Health Association, which coordinates and supports clinics across San Bernardino County, Riverside County, Los Angeles County, and Orange County. This targeted regional campaign ensures that residents in Southern California have access to guidance and support during the Medi-Cal renewal process.
The campaign focuses specifically on these four counties, where thousands of community members rely on Medi-Cal for essential health services. By concentrating efforts in these regions, Community Health Association aims to ensure that families, seniors, workers, and vulnerable populations receive renewal notices, update their information, and maintain uninterrupted access to medical care.
Some Medi-Cal members are renewed automatically using information from the Social Security Administration and the Employment Development Department. Others must provide additional documentation to complete the renewal process. Residents who receive a renewal form in the mail, often in a yellow envelope, are urged to respond promptly to avoid interruption of coverage.
Community Health Association encourages members to ensure their personal information is up to date, including address, phone number, email, employment, pregnancy status, and marital status. The fastest way to update information is through an online Medi-Cal account, using a Social Security number or Medi-Cal case number.
The association provides enrollment support in multiple languages, by phone or in person. Communities served include Adelanto, Apple Valley, Bloomington, Barstow, Banning, Big Bear, Blythe, Chino, Colton, Corona, Desert Hot Springs, Fontana, Hesperia, Hemet, Indio, Jurupa Valley, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Moreno Valley, Murrieta, Needles, Nuevo, Ontario, Palm Desert, Palm Springs, Perris, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, Rialto, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Jacinto, Temecula, Thermal, Twentynine Palms, Upland, Victorville, and Yucca Valley.
