El Salvador Highlights Sustainable Coffee at Los Angeles Trade Event

The Consulate of El Salvador in Los Angeles, the Coffee Growers Association of El Salvador (ACAFESAL), and Five Points Trading Corp. showcased Salvadoran coffees cultivated with agroecological methods to a select group of U.S. importers during an event titled “The Best Flavors of Coffee from El Salvador.”

Held in Los Angeles, the event featured the participation of Félix Ulloa, Vice Presidential candidate of El Salvador; Adriana Mira, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Luis Castillo, CEO and founder of Five Points Trading Corp.; Alejandro Letona, Consul General of El Salvador in Los Angeles; and Erick López Granados, Director of the Governing Board of ACAFESAL, among other distinguished guests.

The event marked a key milestone for small and medium-scale Salvadoran coffee producers working to enter the U.S. market under the ACAFESAL brand. The showcased varieties are grown using biofertilizers and sustainable farming techniques introduced by Five Points Trading Corp. in coffee-growing regions across El Salvador.
